PLEASE REMEMBER: Should you come across a stray dog, you must call the Dog Control Officer for that town. Please visit our Who To Call page listed under Animal Cruelty on this website or call that Town Office. Dog Control Officers are trained to safely transport dogs and may even know something about the dog that you have found.
Please note that we are CLOSED on MONDAYS. Also, please be aware that we do not routinely respond to Facebook messages or petfinder inquiries. To reach us in an efficient manner, please call us at 518-873-5000 during our regular hours or send an email. We get very busy with the daily shelter routine but will return your call or respond to your email as soon as we are able to. Thank you.
