Free adoptions at the North Country SPCA. Help us empty the shelter while you find your new best friend! As always, applications will need to be filled out and reviewed. Submit an application before Saturday to get pre-approved to adopt on the 19th! You can also fill out an application on Saturday, but same-day adoption is not guaranteed and will not be available after 12PM; the process will be only be expidited from 10AM-12PM.

We'll also have: Introduction to Positive Reinforcement Training Workshops, Nail Trimming, Rabies Clinic, and Microchipping Clinic.

SEPTEMBER

Sunday, September 24th Hours tba MUTT STRUT - REGISTER HERE BEGINNING AUGUST 22ND

Join us for our 4th annual MUTT STRUT: Runners, walkers, and canine companions participate in a 5K fun run around Mirror Lake in Lake Placid. Registration will take place at the Olympic Speed Skating Oval in Lake Placid. This event jointly benefits the Tri-Lakes Humane Society and the North Country SPCA.
